Heavy Water Dynamic Dust Suppressant

Heavy Water Dynamic (HWD)  - Has been developed by RST as a multi-purpose micro polymer additive for water carts and spray system – when applied on unsealed ground maximises water penetration and binds all fien particles to greatly improve dust control.

Application
HWD has been developed by RST as a dust suppressant, wate extender, compaction aid and veneering agent all in one. Simply adjust the application rate to achieve the required results for each different application.
It is as simple as dosing HWD at 1:10,000 into the water cart or spray system and adjusting the volume of the solution applied for each application.

Applications

• Heavy Water Dynamic (HWD) is dosed into the water cart at a rate of 1:10,000. The inclusion of a Teksmart Dose Buddy pump which is specially designed to not shear the polymer an inject the correct application dosage into each water cart based on a pre-determined daily allowance.
• The diluted solution is simply applied as part of the standard watering plan and results are achieved quickly.

A HWD solution applied at a heavier application rate on open source emissions such as stockpiles and all open ground that is Non Trafficked will form a crust. HWD then seals the material to stop dust lift off and sediment loss for a considerable amount of time.

Environmental Commitment
The polymers we use are 100% bio-absorbable. That is, their affinity for solid particles is so strong that they do not leach, migrate or re-solubilise from the areas where they are applied. The fact they are water soluble only lasts until they touch something solid and they are immediately removed from the water and cannot be remoboilised.
